E9 M - NOAH als Englisch-Lernbegleiter Klasse 9 nutzen
E9 M - NOAH als Englisch-Lernbegleiter Klasse 9 nutzen
Mini-Beschreibung: Nutze NOAH für englische Dialoge, Schreibfeedback, Prüfungssimulationen und gezielte Sprachfragen. Du trainierst dabei besonders: Ask me follow-up questions, Give me one hint, Check only my main errors und Let’s practise mediation.
Zielgruppe: Englisch als erste Fremdsprache, Klasse 9, Baden-Württemberg, M-Niveau. Der Sprachmodus ist B1-orientiert: Du verstehst zunehmend längere kurze Texte, reagierst spontaner und formulierst zusammenhängende eigene Beiträge.
Lernweg: English first → understand → respond → ask → hint → improve → use again.

Danach gehst Du wieder ins Englische zurück.
Datenschutz und Fairness: Verwende nur erfundene Profile, Bewerbungsdaten und Beispiele. Teile keine privaten Social-Media-Daten. Sprachaufnahmen sind freiwillig und bleiben privat. Lade nichts ungefragt hoch und erteile keine externen KI-Zugriffe. Prüfe KI-Fakten, Quellen und Rückmeldungen. Bewahre Deine eigenen Textfassungen auf.
Media warm-up: Watch the video once without stopping. Then answer in English:
- What is the disagreement about?
- Which opinion sounds stronger to you?
- Ask one follow-up question that could continue the conversation.
I-can-Ziele
Nach diesem Kurs kannst Du sagen:
- I can keep a conversation going by answering and asking follow-up questions.
- I can ask for a hint instead of asking for the full answer.
- I can use feedback to improve my own text without replacing it.
- I can mediate information between German and English without translating every word.
- I can react spontaneously in a B1-level conversation.
- I can write coherent texts such as emails, reports, blog posts, opinions, stories and short applications.
- I can check AI output for language, facts and usefulness.
Vorwissen: Your starting point
Answer these questions in English. Keep each answer to two or three sentences.
- What do you already use English for outside school?
- What is easier for you: listening, speaking, reading or writing?
- What usually stops you when you want to speak?
- Which kind of feedback helps you most?
- When would you need mediation between German and English?
NOAH prompt: Ask me one follow-up question after each answer. Keep your English at B1 level.

Der E9-M-Sprachmodus
NOAH soll sich sprachlich an Klasse 9, M-Niveau anpassen.
Das bedeutet:
- mostly clear B1-level English;
- moderate natural speed;
- short but increasingly longer authentic or authentic-style texts;
- more vocabulary that can be guessed from context;
- several speakers in listening tasks when useful;
- discussion, comparison, negotiation and presentation;
- spontaneous reactions instead of only prepared answers;
- focused feedback instead of correcting every small detail.
Verständlichkeit geht vor Akzentfreiheit. Ziel ist nicht, wie ein bestimmter Muttersprachler zu klingen. Ziel ist, klar, passend und sicher genug zu kommunizieren.
Deutsch-Hilfe
M-Niveau bedeutet hier: anspruchsvoller als reine Satzübungen, aber weiterhin mit überschaubaren Texten, klaren Aufgaben und Hilfen in Stufen. Du sollst zunehmend selbst entscheiden, welche Hilfe Du brauchst.
Vier Schlüssel-Prompts für NOAH
| Prompt | Was NOAH tun soll | Dein Ziel |
|---|---|---|
| Ask me follow-up questions. | Nach Deiner Antwort gezielt weiterfragen. | Gespräch am Laufen halten. |
| Give me one hint. | Nur einen kleinen Hinweis geben, nicht die Lösung. | Selbst weiterdenken. |
| Check only my main errors. | Nur die wichtigsten Fehler markieren und erklären. | Überblick behalten und selbst überarbeiten. |
| Let’s practise mediation. | Eine Sprachmittlungssituation starten. | Bedeutung sinngemäß übertragen. |
Wichtig: Wenn NOAH zu viel erklärt, stoppe ihn: One hint only, please. Wenn NOAH Deinen ganzen Text ersetzt, schreibe: Keep my text. Mark only the main problems.
Listening and Viewing

Das Video zeigt eine B1-orientierte Sprechprüfung mit mehreren Gesprächsphasen. Nutze es als Listening + Viewing-Training.
First viewing – gist
- What are the four main speaking situations?
- Which part needs interaction with another person?
- Where do the speakers have to react spontaneously?
Second viewing – detail
- Note three phrases for giving an opinion.
- Note two phrases for agreeing or reacting.
- Note one moment where a speaker keeps the conversation going.
NOAH prompt: Ask me five short listening questions about the video. Do not show the answers first.
Challenge: After each answer, say: Ask me a follow-up question.
Listening strategy
Use this order:
- First listen: main idea.
- Second listen: details.
- Third listen: useful language.
- Then speak: reuse one phrase.
Do not stop at every unknown word. Guess from context first.

Reading
Read this short text once without a dictionary.
School Repair Café
Our school is planning a small Repair Café next month. Students can bring broken everyday objects such as headphones, lamps or bags. A team of volunteers will try to repair them together. The aim is not only to save money but also to reduce waste and learn practical skills. Students who are good at sewing, electronics or organising events can join the team. Visitors should describe the problem with their object before the repair starts. The organisers also want to collect short feedback after the event. If the project works well, the school may repeat it twice a year.
Reading tasks
- Find the main purpose of the project.
- Explain why different skills are useful.
- Guess the meaning of reduce waste from context.
- Write one follow-up question for the organisers.
- Give one reason why the project could work well.
NOAH prompt: Do not translate the text. Ask me questions that help me understand it.
Deutsch-Hilfe
repair = reparieren; waste = Abfall; volunteer = freiwillig mitarbeitende Person. Mehr Hilfe erst anfordern, wenn Du sie wirklich brauchst.
Kontextwortschatz
Do not learn isolated word lists only. Learn words in useful chunks.
| Situation | Useful chunks |
|---|---|
| opinion | In my view ... / I partly agree because ... / One problem is ... |
| comparison | Compared with ... / Both ... but ... / The main difference is ... |
| negotiation | How about ...? / That could work, but ... / Shall we agree on ...? |
| follow-up | Why do you think that? / What happened next? / Can you give an example? |
| clarification | Do you mean ...? / Could you explain that? / I’m not sure I understood. |
| mediation | The main point is ... / You need to know that ... / In short ... |
Mini-task: Choose five chunks and use each one in a new sentence.
NOAH prompt: Give me a short situation. I will choose a useful phrase myself.
Aussprache und Fluency

Fluency does not mean speaking without pauses. It means that your listener can follow you.
30-second routine
- Read one short sentence aloud.
- Say it again without reading.
- Add one detail.
- Add one follow-up question.
Focus on:
- clear word stress;
- understandable endings;
- useful pauses between meaning groups;
- linking common phrases naturally;
- speaking on after a small mistake.
NOAH prompt: Give me one short B1 sentence to practise. Focus on one pronunciation point only.
Private recording option: Record yourself only if you want to. Keep the file private. Compare your second attempt with your first attempt and note one improvement.
Speaking: Keep the conversation going

Scenario: Choosing a class project
You and a partner have three ideas:
- a school podcast;
- a repair event;
- an international food day.
Your task is to compare, discuss and agree on one idea.
Use at least:
- one opinion phrase;
- one comparison;
- one polite disagreement;
- two follow-up questions;
- one final agreement.
NOAH prompt: Be my speaking partner. Give one opinion at a time. Ask me follow-up questions. Keep the conversation at B1 level.
Harder version: Disagree with me politely once, then ask me to justify my idea.
Prüfungssimulation
Use the video as a model for interaction, not for memorising answers.
Simulation with NOAH
- Part 1: personal but non-private questions about school, hobbies and plans.
- Part 2: describe a fictional picture situation.
- Part 3: discuss options and negotiate.
- Part 4: give and support an opinion.
NOAH prompt: Simulate a B1 speaking test. Ask one question at a time. Do not correct me while I am speaking. Give short feedback after each part.
Writing

At M-level, your text should be connected and easy to follow. A good text does not need to be perfect.
Writing cycle
- Plan.
- Write your own first version.
- Ask for focused feedback.
- Revise.
- Compare both versions.
- Use one improvement in a new text.
Core prompt: Check only my main errors. Keep my wording where possible. Mark no more than five important points.
Writing task: Email
Situation: A fictional English partner school is planning a project week. Write an email of about 120–160 words.
Include:
- one project idea;
- two reasons;
- one possible problem;
- one solution;
- one question to the partner school.
NOAH prompt after your draft: Check only my main errors: sentence structure, verb forms and unclear wording. Do not rewrite the whole email.
Writing task: Blog opinion
Write 140–180 words on:
Should students use AI learning companions for language practice?
Structure:
- introduce the topic;
- give your opinion;
- give at least two reasons;
- mention one risk;
- finish with a balanced conclusion.
NOAH prompt: Give feedback on organisation and clarity first. Then point out only three language errors.
Writing task: Fictional application and CV
Use fictional data only.
Fictional profile Name: Jamie Keller Age: 15 Goal: one-week school internship Interests: technology, sports, helping younger students Experience: school library team, class event organisation Strengths: reliable, curious, cooperative
Create:
- a short application email;
- a simple CV with fictional details;
- three likely interview questions.
NOAH prompt: Check whether my application sounds polite, clear and realistic for a Year 9 student. Do not invent private information.
Mediation
Mediation means: transfer the important meaning for a specific person and situation. It is not word-for-word translation.
Situation: Your German-speaking friend wants to join an English-language school event. The German notice says:
Treffpunkt ist um 8:15 Uhr am Haupteingang. Bitte bringt eine Trinkflasche und wetterfeste Kleidung mit. Das Mittagessen wird gestellt. Wer Lebensmittelallergien hat, meldet sich spätestens drei Tage vorher im Sekretariat.
Your friend asks: What do I need to know?
Give the key information in English in 3–5 sentences.
Core prompt: Let’s practise mediation. Give me a short German school message and a clear English target situation. Do not translate it for me.
Check yourself:
- Did I include what the person really needs?
- Did I leave out unimportant wording?
- Did I use natural English?
- Did I avoid a sentence-by-sentence translation?
Deutsch-Hilfe
Sprachmittlung fragt immer: Wer braucht welche Information wofür? Übertrage den Sinn passend zur Situation. Du musst nicht jedes Wort mitnehmen.
Funktionale Grammatik
Grammar is a tool for communication.
| Function | Useful grammar | Example |
|---|---|---|
| talk about experience | present perfect | I have worked on two school projects. |
| tell a story | past simple and past continuous | We were waiting when the bus arrived. |
| give advice | should / could | You could ask for one hint. |
| discuss possibilities | may / might / could | The project might work better online. |
| compare | comparatives and linking words | This option is cheaper, but the other one is more flexible. |
| explain conditions | first conditional | If we finish early, we will practise again. |
NOAH prompt: Correct only the grammar that changes meaning or makes my sentence hard to understand.
Hilfestufen: Ask for less, not more
Use help in steps.
| Level | Prompt |
|---|---|
| 1 | Give me one hint. |
| 2 | Give me two key words. |
| 3 | Give me the beginning of the sentence. |
| 4 | Show me one similar example, not my answer. |
| 5 | Explain the rule briefly. Then I will try again. |
Start with Level 1 whenever possible.
Feedback nutzen
Good feedback helps you act.
Useful request: Check only my main errors.
NOAH should focus on:
- meaning and clarity;
- sentence structure;
- repeated grammar problems;
- important vocabulary choice;
- task fulfilment.
NOAH should usually not correct every small spelling or punctuation detail at once.
Your job after feedback:
- choose the most important point;
- revise it yourself;
- explain what you changed;
- use the improved form again.
Fehleranalyse
Create a small personal error log. Do not copy full corrected texts.
| My original form | Type | My correction | New example |
|---|---|---|---|
| I am agree. | phrase | I agree. | I agree with the second idea. |
| Yesterday I go ... | tense | Yesterday I went ... | Last week we went to the library. |
NOAH prompt: From my text, choose only two repeated error patterns. Let me correct them myself first.
Fakten und KI-Antworten prüfen
NOAH can be useful, but an AI answer can be incomplete, outdated or wrong.
Use the 3-check rule:
- Language check: Does the sentence fit the task and level?
- Fact check: Can the factual claim be verified?
- Source check: Is the source real, relevant and trustworthy?
For schoolwork, keep your own draft and note what you changed after AI feedback.
Never assume that confident wording means a fact is correct.
Transfer: Use it again
Choose one improved phrase from today and use it in a new task.
Examples:
- After practising opinions, use the phrase in a blog post.
- After mediation, use the same strategy in a spoken situation.
- After writing feedback, use the corrected structure in a new email.
- After a speaking simulation, use two follow-up questions in a real pair discussion.
NOAH prompt: Give me a new situation where I can reuse the language I just improved.
Can-do-Check
Mark each statement for yourself: not yet / with help / mostly / independently.
| Can-do statement | Self-check |
|---|---|
| I can understand the main idea of moderate B1-level audio. | |
| I can ask follow-up questions naturally. | |
| I can keep speaking after a small mistake. | |
| I can write a connected email or opinion text. | |
| I can use one hint instead of asking for the answer. | |
| I can use focused feedback to revise my own text. | |
| I can mediate key information between German and English. | |
| I can check whether an AI claim needs verification. |
Next step: Repeat one task where you marked with help and reduce the support by one level.
