E7 M - NOAH als Englisch-Lernbegleiter Klasse 7 nutzen

Mini-Beschreibung: Nutze NOAH für kurze englische Gespräche, Hinweise, Wortschatzarbeit und gezieltes Feedback. Der Kurs ist für Klasse 7, M-Niveau, Englisch als erste Fremdsprache gedacht. Dein Grundmuster ist: English first → try → context/media → hint → German help if needed. Eine automatische Vollübersetzung ist nicht das Ziel.

Einleitung

NOAH ist Dein Lernbegleiter, nicht Dein Ersatz. Du probierst zuerst selbst. Danach fragst Du gezielt nach einem Hinweis, einer Rückfrage oder kurzem Feedback. Prüfe die Antwort und verbessere Deinen eigenen Text oder Deine eigene Aussage.

Start prompt:

Please use English for Year 7.

Vier wichtige Lern-Prompts:

Give me a hint.
Ask me follow-up questions.
Correct only the important mistakes.
Please use English for Year 7.

Gib keine privaten Namen, Adressen, Telefonnummern, Passwörter oder privaten Social-Media-Daten ein. Verwende bei Rollenübungen fiktive Profile. Aufnahmen sind freiwillig und bleiben privat; lade nichts ungefragt hoch. Nutze keine externen KI-Dienste, wenn sie nicht von Schule oder Lehrkraft freigegeben sind.

I-can-Ziele

Nach diesem Kurs kannst Du:

  1. I can start a short English conversation and keep it going with a follow-up question.
  2. I can ask for help without asking for the full answer.
  3. I can use new words in context instead of learning only isolated lists.
  4. I can ask for useful feedback and improve one important mistake at a time.
  5. I can check AI feedback and decide whether it really fits my task.

Dein Lernweg mit NOAH

Nutze immer dieselbe Schleife:

  1. Notice: What do I see or hear?
  2. Understand: What is the main idea?
  3. Try: Say or write your own answer.
  4. Use: Put the language into a real mini-task.
  5. Communicate: React, ask, explain or present.
  6. Feedback: Ask for one useful hint or correction.
  7. Improve: Change your own answer.
  8. Use again: Try the improved language in a new situation.

Wichtig: Wenn Du etwas nicht verstehst, frage zuerst auf Englisch. Erst danach kannst Du um kurze deutsche Hilfe bitten: Explain this one word in German, please. Bitte nicht um eine komplette Übersetzung.

Vorwissen aktivieren

Try first — without NOAH.

  1. Say three sentences about your school day.
  2. Ask one follow-up question: Why?, When?, Who with? or What happened next?
  3. Write one opinion with because.
  4. Mark one word you would like to improve.

Then ask NOAH:

Ask me three short questions about my school day. Please use English for Year 7.

Listening and Viewing

Watch this short BBC Learning English clip about giving opinions politely.

First try: Listen once without stopping. Catch the main idea.

Second try: Listen again and note two useful phrases.

NOAH help, step by step:

Give me a hint. What should I listen for?
Ask me one question about the video.
Explain only the word I do not understand.

Mini-transfer: Give a polite opinion about a class presentation:

I think ...
I feel ...
Maybe ... could be a little ...

Two-speaker listening: In this BBC Learning English conversation, Neil and Georgie talk at a natural but learner-friendly pace.

Task: Listen for who says what. Write one idea from each speaker and one follow-up question you would ask.

Authentic mini-viewing: London

This British Council LearnEnglish Teens video is longer and more natural. You do not need to understand every word. Watch only a short part first.

Task: In the first minute, note three things you understand. Then tell NOAH:

I understood these three things: ...
Ask me two follow-up questions.
Give me a hint if my answer is too short.

Use subtitles only after your first try. Do not translate the whole video.

Reading: A fictional chat

Fictional profile: Maya is 13 and practises English for a school project.

Maya: Hi! I have to give a short talk about my favourite place. NOAH: Great. What place did you choose? Maya: The small park near our school. I like it because my friends and I often meet there. NOAH: What can people do there? Maya: They can play basketball, sit under the trees and talk. NOAH: Nice. Can you give one reason why this place is important to you? Maya: It is important because I have many good memories there.

Reading check: What is Maya's topic? Which follow-up question helps her add a reason? What information is still missing?

Your prompt:

Ask me follow-up questions about my favourite place. Do not write the full talk for me.

Wortschatz im Kontext

Lerne Wörter in kleinen Satzbausteinen:

  1. give an opinion – I think our idea is useful.
  2. give a reason – I like it because it is practical.
  3. ask a follow-up question – Why do you think that?
  4. improve an answer – I can add one example.
  5. important mistake – Please correct only the important mistakes.
  6. main idea – The main idea is ...

Ask NOAH:

Give me six Year 7 words about school projects. Use each word in one short sentence.
Now quiz me. Do not show all answers at once.

Rule: New word → short context → your own sentence → use it again later.

Aussprache

Choose only two or three words at a time, for example question, comfortable and feedback.

Ask:

Say these words slowly, then at normal speed.
Which syllable is stressed?
Give me one short sentence with each word.

Then repeat privately or with a partner. A recording is optional. Verständlichkeit ist wichtiger als Akzentfreiheit.

Speaking

Try a 60-second conversation with a partner or NOAH.

Situation: You are planning a class activity.

Start:

Hi! I think we should ...
What do you think?
Why?
That sounds good, but ...
Could we also ...?

NOAH prompt:

Have a short Year 7 conversation with me. Ask follow-up questions. Let me speak more than you. Correct only the important mistakes after my answer.

Goal: react, ask, give one reason and keep the conversation going.

Writing

Write an email of about 80–100 words to a fictional exchange partner. Topic: A good place to spend an afternoon in my town.

Use this structure:

  1. Greeting
  2. One short introduction
  3. Two details about the place
  4. One reason why you like it
  5. One question to the other person
  6. Closing

First write your own text. Then ask:

Check my email. Correct only the important mistakes.
Tell me one thing that is clear and one thing I should improve.
Do not rewrite the whole email.

Copy only corrections you understand. Your final version should still sound like your own writing.

Transfer: Use the same method later for a short report, a short story or an opinion paragraph: write first → ask for focused feedback → improve your own text.

Mediation mini-task

Your classmate asks in German: Was soll ich bei der NOAH-Aufgabe machen?

Explain the task briefly in German, but keep the key prompts in English. Do not translate every sentence word for word. Your goal is to pass on the important information.

Functional grammar

Grammar helps you communicate. Focus on forms you need now:

  1. Questions: What do you think? / Why did you choose it?
  2. Reasons: because
  3. Linking ideas: and, but, so
  4. Simple comparison: This idea is easier than the first one.
  5. Past events when needed: Yesterday I tried ...

Ask:

Check only my question forms.
Give me one hint, not the answer.

E-Ausblick – Past perfect, nur kontrolliert: You may notice a sentence such as After I had finished my homework, I practised English. For now, recognise the form; do not make it the main grammar target.

Feedback richtig nutzen

Good feedback is short enough to use.

Useful prompts:

Correct only the important mistakes.
Show me my first important mistake.
Give me a hint before the correction.
Ask me to try again.
Was my answer clear? Give one reason.

Check the feedback:

  1. Does it fit the task?
  2. Is the English suitable for Year 7?
  3. Can you explain the correction?
  4. Did NOAH change your meaning?
  5. Can you improve the sentence yourself?

If the feedback looks too difficult, say:

Please make the feedback easier. Year 7 English.

Gestufte Hilfen

Help 1 – English hint:

Give me a small hint.

Help 2 – English example:

Give me one short example, but not my full answer.

Help 3 – simpler English:

Use easier English and shorter sentences.

Help 4 – small German help:

Explain this word in German, but keep the rest in English.

Use the lowest help level that lets you continue.

Mini-Transfer

Choose a new topic: weekend, hobby, school club, favourite place or a film you know.

Do this sequence:

  1. Speak for 30–60 seconds.
  2. Ask NOAH for one follow-up question.
  3. Answer with a reason.
  4. Ask for one important correction.
  5. Say the improved sentence again.

Self-Check: Can do

Mark what you can do now:

  1. I can use Please use English for Year 7.
  2. I can ask Give me a hint.
  3. I can ask Ask me follow-up questions.
  4. I can ask Correct only the important mistakes.
  5. I can keep most of the learning conversation in English.
  6. I can use short German help only when I really need it.
  7. I can check whether AI feedback is useful before I accept it.

Next course: Mit NOAH Dialoge und Kurzpräsentationen trainieren

Offene Aufgaben

Leicht

Lernkontrolle

  1. Gespräch weiterführen: Du bekommst den Satz I like our project idea. Formuliere zwei passende Follow-up questions und begründe, warum sie das Gespräch öffnen.
  2. Feedback auswählen: Ein Lernender fragt NOAH einmal nach einer Komplettlösung und einmal nach einem Hinweis. Erkläre, welche Lernwirkung die beiden Wege wahrscheinlich haben und wie Du den Prompt verbessern würdest.
  3. Video verstehen: Beschreibe eine Strategie für ein englisches Video, das etwas zu schnell ist. Nutze die Reihenfolge first try → hint → second try → short German help if needed.

  4. Du kannst Wortschatz in eigenen Sätzen verwenden.
  5. Du kannst eine kurze E-Mail oder Meinung selbst schreiben und gezieltes Feedback nutzen.
  6. Du kannst wichtige KI-Korrekturen prüfen, erklären und in Deine eigene Lösung einarbeiten.
  7. Du kannst sichere fiktive Daten nutzen und private Informationen schützen.
