Mini-Beschreibung: In diesem aiMOOC findest Du mit kleinen Diagnosen Deinen persönlichen Lernpfad. Du trainierst listening, reading, speaking, writing, mediation, vocabulary, grammar und pronunciation. Du arbeitest in kurzen Schritten: notice → understand → try → use → communicate → feedback → improve → use again.

Der Kurs ist für Englisch als erste Fremdsprache, Klasse 7, G-Niveau, Baden-Württemberg. Die Lernsprache folgt diesem Prinzip: English first → try → context/media → hint → German help if needed. Du bekommst also nicht sofort eine Vollübersetzung.

Listening and Viewing

Goal: I can understand the main idea and some key details.

First listen or watch without a transcript. Do not try to understand every word.

Try 1 – gist: What is the main problem? Say it in one short English sentence.

Try 2 – details: Listen again. Note three words or short chunks you hear.

Hint: Listen for stressed words. They often carry important information.

German help if needed: Suche zuerst nur Thema und Schlüsselwörter. Eine Wort-für-Wort-Übersetzung brauchst Du nicht.

Mini-transfer: Imagine a small homework problem. Say: I have a problem with ... . Can you help me?

Listening strategy

Use this short routine:

Before: Look at the title or picture. What do you expect?
First listen: Find the topic.
Second listen: Find two or three details.
After: Say one sentence about the message.

Reading

Goal: I can understand a short text and find useful information.

Read this fictional profile:

Hi, I’m Maya. I’m 13 and I live in Bristol. On school days, I usually take the bus. My favourite subject is art because I like making things. Last Saturday, I met my cousin in town. We looked for a birthday present and had lunch together. Next weekend, we’re going to visit a small science museum.

Try:

What does Maya usually do on school days?
What did she do last Saturday?
What is she going to do next weekend?

Hint: Mark time words: usually, last Saturday, next weekend.

German help if needed: Zeitangaben helfen Dir, Gegenwart, Vergangenheit und Zukunft zu erkennen.

Mini-transfer: Write three similar sentences about a fictional person.

Vocabulary in context

Goal: I can learn useful chunks, not only single words.

Learn these chunks in situations:

Try: Choose three chunks and make a mini-dialogue.

Word-bank tip: Keep words together when they often belong together. Learn make a plan, not only plan.

Pronunciation

Goal: I can speak clearly enough to be understood.

You do not need to sound like a native speaker. Being understandable is more important than accent-free speech.

Try these chunks slowly, then at normal speed:

How about Saturday? Sounds good to me. Can you help me? I think it’s a good idea.

Notice: Important words are often stronger. Small grammar words are often weaker.

Try: Clap once on the strongest word in each chunk.

Private practice: You may record yourself on your own device, listen once and delete the recording. Recording is voluntary. Do not upload recordings unless your teacher has clearly asked for it and the platform is approved.

Speaking

Goal: I can take part in a short conversation.

Watch once for the situation. Watch again for useful phrases.

Speaking frame:

A: What shall we do on Saturday? B: How about ...? A: Sounds good. What time? B: Let’s meet at ... . A: Great. See you then.

Try: Change the activity, place and time.

Help:

Start: Read the frame with a partner.
Practice: Change three details.
Plus: Add a small problem and solve it: I can’t come at two. How about three?

Mini-transfer: Meet a fictional new student. Ask two friendly questions and answer two questions.

Writing

Goal: I can write a short text with connected sentences.

Task: Write 6–8 sentences about a good day.

Writing frame:

Last ... I ... . First, ... . Then, ... . After that, ... . I liked it because ... . Next time, I want to ... .

Word bank: went, played, met, watched, visited, made, had, good, funny, interesting, tired, excited

Check:

Did you use a time phrase?
Did you connect sentences?
Did you check past forms?
Can a classmate understand the main idea?

AI rule: If you use an AI tool in class, only use an approved tool and check its level and feedback. Your own text stays your text. AI should not replace your writing.

Mediation

Goal: I can pass on the most important information in simple English.

German notice: Die Sport-AG beginnt am Donnerstag um 14:30 Uhr in der kleinen Sporthalle. Bitte Sportschuhe und eine Trinkflasche mitbringen.

Situation: Your English-speaking classmate asks what the notice says.

Try in simple English. Do not translate every word.

Starter: The sports club is on ... . It starts at ... . You need ... .

Check: Did you give the important information: day, time, place and things to bring?

Functional Grammar

Goal: Grammar helps me communicate.

Use grammar for a purpose:

Try: Make one true or fictional example for three rows.

Controlled E-look-ahead: You may notice the past perfect in a Plus-text, for example She had left before I arrived. You only need to understand the order of two past events. Do not make it a main grammar target here.

Not yet: Passive voice and reported speech are not learning targets in this course.

Chunk Cards: Gestalte sechs kleine Karten mit nützlichen Chunks wie How about ...? oder I think ... because ... und ergänze je eine Situation.
Reading Profile: Schreibe für eine fiktive Person ein Profil mit sechs kurzen Sätzen und drei Zeitangaben.
Pronunciation Check: Sprich vier bekannte Chunks langsam und dann in normalem Tempo. Markiere jeweils das wichtigste Wort.

Standard

Mini-Dialog: Plane mit einem Partner eine fiktive Wochenendaktivität. Nutzt mindestens vier Chunks und löst ein kleines Zeitproblem.
Writing Frame: Schreibe 8–10 Sätze über einen fiktiven guten Tag. Nutze First, Then und After that.
Mediation Card: Erstelle eine kurze deutsche Schulnotiz und gib die vier wichtigsten Informationen mündlich auf Englisch weiter.
Feedback Partner: Tauscht kurze Texte. Gebt nur zwei Rückmeldungen: eine Stärke und einen konkreten nächsten Schritt.

Schwer

Learning Path: Wähle zwei Kompetenzen, in denen Du noch unsicher bist. Plane je eine Diagnose, eine Übung und einen Mini-Transfer.
Video Task: Entwickle zu einem kurzen, schulgeeigneten englischen Video drei Aufgaben: gist, detail und transfer. Gib das Transkript nicht vor dem ersten Hörversuch.
Skill Mix: Erstelle eine Aufgabe, die reading, speaking und writing verbindet. Nutze eine fiktive Alltagssituation.
Reflect and Improve: Bearbeite einen eigenen kurzen Text oder Dialog ein zweites Mal nach Feedback und erkläre auf Deutsch in drei Sätzen, was Du verbessert hast.

Lernkontrolle

Strategiewahl: Du verstehst in einem Audio nur einzelne Wörter. Erkläre, welche zwei Hörstrategien Du beim zweiten Versuch nutzen würdest und warum.
Sprachhandlung: Eine Freundin kann am geplanten Treffpunkt nicht zur vereinbarten Zeit kommen. Formuliere einen kurzen englischen Dialog, in dem Ihr eine neue Lösung findet.
Textverbesserung: Überarbeite einen kurzen selbst geschriebenen Text so, dass Zeitangaben und Verknüpfungen klarer werden. Begründe zwei Änderungen.
Mediation Transfer: Übertrage die Kernaussagen einer kurzen deutschen Schulmitteilung in einfaches Englisch, ohne Wort-für-Wort zu übersetzen.
Grammar in Context: Entscheide bei mehreren Alltagssituationen, ob Du über eine Routine, eine laufende Handlung, ein abgeschlossenes Ereignis oder einen Plan sprichst. Bilde passende Beispielsätze.
Feedback nutzen: Nimm eine Rückmeldung zu Aussprache oder Schreiben und zeige an einem Vorher-Nachher-Beispiel, wie Du sie umgesetzt hast.

Lernnachweis

Für Deinen Lernnachweis ist wichtig, dass Du zeigen kannst:

Du verstehst bei kurzen Hör- und Lesetexten die Hauptaussage und wichtige Details.
Du verwendest einfachen, passenden Wortschatz in Chunks.
Du sprichst in kurzen verbundenen Sätzen und reagierst auf andere.
Du schreibst einen kurzen verständlichen Text mit einfachen Verknüpfungen.
Du gibst bei einer Mediation die wichtigen Informationen sinngemäß weiter.
Du nutzt grundlegende Zeitformen passend zur Situation.
Du kannst eine Rückmeldung aufnehmen und eine eigene Leistung sichtbar verbessern.
Du reflektierst Deinen Lernweg mit Yes – Almost – Not yet.
Eigene Aufnahmen bleiben freiwillig und privat; ungefragte Uploads oder externe KI-Zugriffe gehören nicht zum Lernnachweis.

Medien und Sicherheit

Die eingesetzten Bilder stammen aus Wikimedia Commons und sind frei lizenziert oder gemeinfrei. Die eingebetteten Lernvideos werden über YouTube bereitgestellt. Nutze Medien nur im schulischen Rahmen und beachte die Vorgaben Deiner Schule.

Für Aufgaben mit Personen verwendest Du fiktive Profile. Veröffentliche keine privaten Social-Media-Daten. Eigene Sprachaufnahmen sind freiwillig und sollen ohne klare schulische Freigabe nicht hochgeladen werden.

KI kann beim Prüfen oder Üben helfen, aber Du prüfst Niveau, Inhalt und Feedback. KI ersetzt nicht Deine eigene Sprachproduktion.
