People are different – and that is normal. In this aiMOOC lernst Du, eine Person genau und respektvoll zu beschreiben. Du sprichst über appearance, character, interests und relationships. Alle Profile im Kurs sind erfunden.

Wichtig: Aus einem Bild kannst Du das Aussehen beschreiben. Charakter, Interessen oder Beziehungen darfst Du nicht einfach aus dem Aussehen erraten.

Look and think: What can you see? A smile can show an emotion. It does not tell you everything about a person.

Grammar in action: is and has got

Use is with adjectives:

Mia is tall. Leo is friendly.

Use has got with things or features:

Mia has got long hair. Leo has got glasses.

Question chunks:

Short answers:

Yes, he has. / No, he hasn't. Yes, she is. / No, she isn't.

Listen to the example words. Say them clearly. Then use them in short sentences.

Understand – interests

Use likes + noun or likes + verb-ing.

Mia likes music. Sam likes reading. Leo likes playing football. Aisha likes drawing animals.

Use but for a difference:

Leo likes football, but he doesn't like dancing.

Use because for a simple reason:

Aisha likes drawing because it is relaxing.

All people and data below are fictional.

Mia

Mia is eleven. She has got long brown hair and glasses. She is friendly and funny, but she can be quiet in new groups. She likes music and reading. Aisha is her classmate, and Leo is her friend.

Leo

Leo is twelve. He has got short black hair and a friendly smile. He is helpful and curious. He likes football and animals. Mia is his friend. He often talks to Sam about sport.

Aisha

Aisha is eleven. She has got curly dark hair. She is kind, creative and brave in new situations. She likes drawing and music. Mia is her classmate, and Sam is her best friend.

Sam

Sam is twelve. Sam has got short curly hair and glasses. Sam is creative and helpful. Sam likes reading, drawing and board games. Aisha is Sam's best friend, and Mia is Sam's cousin.

Reading task: Find one sentence about appearance, one about character, one about an interest and one about a relationship.

Speak – copy, change, use

Read the model:

This is Mia. She has got long brown hair and glasses. She is friendly and funny. She likes music, and she also likes reading. Aisha is her classmate, and Leo is her friend.

Now change at least four details.

Useful frame:

This is ... . ... has got ... . ... is ... and ... . ... likes ... , but ... . ... is ...'s friend/classmate/cousin.

E-level challenge: Add one sentence with because.

Tip: Speak clearly. You do not need to sound exactly like a native speaker. The goal is: other people can understand you.

Use fictional names and fictional profiles for class tasks. Do not publish private information about real classmates.

Recordings are voluntary and should stay private unless everyone involved has clearly agreed to share them. No one should be asked to upload a voice recording or photo without permission.

If you use an AI language helper, check every suggestion. Keep your own ideas and your own sentences. Do not send personal photos, names, voices or private data to an external AI service just for this task.
