Quick start: What do you already know?

Answer fast. It is OK if you are not sure.

Your partner says: I like basketball. Can you ask one more question?
Which word asks about a place: where or who?

Notice

Read the mini-dialogue.

Mia: What do you do after school? Ben: I play football. Mia: Where do you play? Ben: In the park. Mia: Who do you play with? Ben: With two friends.

Notice: Mia does not change the topic. She uses Ben's answer.

German help: Mia greift ein Detail auf und fragt dazu weiter.

Watch smart: Listen for short questions. You do not need to understand every word. Pause and repeat one useful question.

Picture task

Try English first: What can the next question be?

Hint: Ask about a person, place or reason.

German help: Frage nach einer Person, einem Ort oder einem Grund.

Example: “I like art.” → “Why do you like it?”

Possible solution: “Who do you work with?”

Understand

A follow-up question comes after an answer. It asks for one more detail.

Easy conversation loop:

Question → Answer → Follow-up question → Answer

Example:

A: What is your favourite school subject? B: PE. A: Why do you like it? B: Because I like games.

Keep it simple. One good question is enough.

Choose only three useful questions from the video. Pause. Listen again. Repeat.

Speaking tip: Make the question word clear: WHERE? WHO? WHAT? WHY? HOW?

Write a mini-chat with four lines.

Use fictional names in tasks. You do not need to upload photos, audio or personal data.

A recording is optional. If you record yourself, keep it private unless your teacher has a safe school system and you choose to share it.

No external AI tool is needed. If an AI tool is used in class, check its answer and write the final sentence yourself.
