Your mission: Give a short media-supported presentation in English about something you know well: a place, a hobby, an animal, an experience or a project.

Keep it simple: pictures + keywords + your voice. No text wall.

Mini goal: Speak for about 1–2 minutes so that your classmates can follow you.

Notice: What makes a short presentation clear?

A clear presentation has a simple route:

START → 2–3 IDEAS → END

You do not need many slides. For a 1–2 minute presentation, three or four simple slides can be enough.

Good slides:

one clear picture
a short title
a few keywords
large, easy-to-read text

Avoid: full paragraphs that you only read aloud.

First, I want to show you my bike. Then, I want to tell you where I ride. Also, I want to explain why I like it.

Your goal is clear English, not a perfect accent.

Notice: The slide has keywords. The speaker makes the sentences.

Short writing output

Write a mini speaker card for your own presentation.

Use only:

a title
8–12 keywords
three linking words
one ending phrase

Example:

Mediation: Help someone understand

A new student understands only a little German. Your German-speaking partner says:

„Sag bitte, dass mein Vortrag über unseren Schulgarten ist. Ich zeige zuerst die Pflanzen und dann unser Insektenhotel.“

Say the message in simple English.

Media choices and safety

Use media that you are allowed to use.

Prefer your own drawings, your own photos without other people, or freely licensed images from Wikimedia Commons.
If people can be recognised, ask before using or sharing the picture.
Recordings are voluntary and should stay private unless your teacher and the people involved agree otherwise.
Do not upload personal data, faces or school information to external services without permission.
If you use AI for ideas, check the result and write your own final wording.
Your presentation should show what you can say and explain.

Media redesign: Improve a slide that has too much text by replacing most of the text with a visual and keywords. Explain your choices.
Private rehearsal project: Make a private rehearsal recording if you want to. Listen once, choose one point to improve, then present live without uploading the recording.

Choose and explain: You see two slides: one with a paragraph and one with a picture plus five keywords. Explain which slide would make listening easier and why.
Build a structure: Put five mixed presentation ideas into a clear order and explain your order.
