Maya: I would choose River Ride. It is cheaper, and I like being outside. Friday is also better for me because I often visit my grandparents on Saturdays. I think cycling is more exciting than painting.
Leo: I prefer Colour Lab. It costs more, but the materials are included. I enjoy quiet activities, and I like making things. Two hours is fine for me because I have more time at the weekend.
Reading task: Find one reason about cost, one about time and one about personal preference.

You use comparatives when you compare two things.

Use these sentence starters:

Speaking
Partner task: Which offer fits?
Student A chooses one profile. Student B recommends an activity.
Profile 1: Sam wants a cheap activity and likes being active outside.
Profile 2: Noor wants a calm activity and is free on Saturday mornings.
Profile 3: Alex likes both activities but has no bike.
Ask at least one follow-up question: When are you free? Do you like outdoor activities? How important is the price for you?
Then say: I think ... is better for you because ...
Feedback: Your partner checks: Did you give at least two reasons?
Short presentation
Speak for about 30–45 seconds.

A short recommendation
Write 70–90 words.
Situation: A new student asks which leisure offer to choose.
Structure:
- Opening: name both offers.
- Compare cost, time or place.
- Add one benefit for each offer.
- Give your recommendation for this person and explain why.
Useful start: Both activities are interesting, but they are quite different. River Ride ...
Self-edit: Underline one comparative and circle one reason word such as because, but or however.

Explain the most important information in simple German:
