Notice: What is in a postcard?
A short postcard can have four important parts:

You do not need a long grammar rule. Use these chunks:

Pronunciation: Say the chunks
Say each line slowly. Then say it again at normal classroom speed.

Hint: Stress the important words: Brighton – swimming – sunny – soon.

Do not correct every small mistake. First make the message easy to understand.
Use again: Improve one postcard
Write the postcard one more time. Change at least one thing after feedback.
Example: Change “I swimming.” to “I am swimming.”
If a school-approved AI tool is used, check every suggestion and write the final text yourself. Never enter real names, addresses, photos or private recordings into an external AI service.
Optional mediation
A German-speaking friend asks: “Wo bist du, was machst du und wie ist das Wetter?”
Read the English postcard and answer briefly in German. Do not translate every sentence.
Example: “Mia ist in Brighton, isst Eis und es ist sonnig und warm.”
