Compare with a reason

Use this simple pattern:

A is + comparative + than + B because ...

Examples:

“Sam’s day is shorter than Alex’s day because Sam goes home at 13:20.”

“For Alex, music may be more interesting than maths because Alex likes making music.”

The second sentence is an opinion. Different answers can be correct if your reason is clear.

Important: “better” is the comparison form of “good”.
