Privacy at MOOCwiki English

MOOCwiki processes only the data required for the requested platform, account, learning, licence, support and security functions. Public courses can be read without a paid plan. Account-based functions may store a pseudonymous username, roles, login information, assigned learning content, attempts, points and learning records.

Important distinctions

Public wiki content: edits are normally retained in the public revision history with the account name. Never publish confidential learner data.
Managed school accounts: schools should use pseudonymous learner accounts where possible and remain responsible for their own account allocation, instructions, legal basis and retention process.
External media: activating third-party videos or learning apps may transmit technical connection data to the provider.
NOAH and AI: local, server-side and optional online model paths are separate. An online provider may receive the question and the context required for the answer. Do not submit confidential learner data to external AI.
ChatGPT generator: this is an optional external service opened by an explicit user action. It is not needed to read public courses.
