| Beschreibung | Wearing personal protective equipment, employees for the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Sacramento District safely navigate the construction zone at the auxiliary spillway using walkways and scaffolding at the Folsom Dam in Folsom, Calif., Sept. 19, 2012. Safety at the job site is a number one priority; equipment and personal safety are a requirement. The Sacramento District is building the spillway in cooperation with the U.S. Bureau of Reclamation, the Central Valley Flood Protection Board, and the Sacramento Area Flood Control Agency to improve the safety of the existing dam and reduce flood risk for the greater Sacramento area.
