Grammar for communication: talking about plans
Use be going to + verb for a plan you already have.
We are going to organise games.
Sara is going to make signs.
Are you going to bring the equipment?
For a fixed arrangement, you can also say:
We are meeting on Thursday at 2:30.
For a quick promise or decision, you may hear:
I'll make the playlist.
Focus: Use the form that helps you communicate your plan. Do not learn a long tense table here.

Pronunciation: clear is the goal
Say the chunks slowly, then at normal speed:
- Let's plan it.
- How about Friday?
- We're going to organise games.
- That sounds great.
- Where are we meeting?
Tip: Stress the important words. You do not need a perfect accent. Clear speech is more important.
Listen for rhythm in a real conversation about making plans. Use only a short part if the full video is too difficult.

Short reading: The plan changes
On Thursday, the class checks the weather. It may rain on Friday. The class decides to keep the event indoors. The games team chooses two indoor games. The music team tests the speaker. The sign team changes one sign. Everyone knows the new plan.
Think: Why is a backup plan useful?
Short writing output
Write 6–8 connected sentences about your event.
Use some of these starters:

Less support: Write without the starters and add one reason for a decision.

Tell an English-speaking classmate the important information. Do not translate every word.
