Architecture is the art and science of designing buildings and other physical structures. In this module, we'll explore architectural terms and concepts in both English and German to help you understand and describe various aspects of architecture.

== Introduction ==

Architecture is more than just building. It involves planning, designing, and constructing spaces that reflect functional, technical, social, environmental, and aesthetic considerations. It requires the creative manipulation and coordination of material, technology, light, and shadow. Architects often involve themselves in the design of both the built environment and the spaces between buildings, and their works are often perceived as cultural symbols and works of art.
